"Who is "Day6?" "That's such a random name for a band?" Well! That's why I'm here to introduce you to the team. Day6 is a Korean pop rock band formed by now four members but orginally six members. The current band members are Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon. The two members that left are Junhyeok and Jae who left a year ago to pursue a solo career but he is still close friends with the band. Different genres that the band specializes in is pop rock, rock n roll, hip-hop, art punk, and britpop. What I love most about Day6 is how close all of the members are with each other and that they compose/produce all of their own music.
Next PageYou don't understand getting to see Day6 live was such a surreal experience for me. The concert was two days after my birthday so I convinced my parents to let me go as a birthday gift. It had been a while I've gone to concert so I was so excited and it hit me like "Omg I'm actually going to see them today" as soon as I saw the venue. Once it was 7:30pm that was when the concert started and everyone including me stood up as fast we could to see the band being elevated to the stage. I still remember how much shock I felt when I saw Young K for the first time. All I could think about is how amazing he looked.
The first song that they played was 'Shoot Me' and it was the PERFECT opening song. Everyone knew the lyrics and it is one of their most loudest song so it got everyone hyped up for the 3 hour long concert. I still remember how happy I was jumping up and down to the music and singing along to all of the lyrics. Tne most memorable part of the concert being able to do a Hi-Touch with the band and we got to talk to them a little while. They were so down-to-earth and genuinely happy to travel around the world on tour. I lost all of my pictures when I got my new phone sadly....
